Entry-Level Sales Representative

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and driven Entry-Level Sales Representative who is ready to learn, grow, and build a career in technical sales. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are interested in business development, customer relationships, and the manufacturing industry. You will gain hands-on exposure to industrial sales while working closely with experienced sales, engineering, and production professionals.
This position offers strong mentorship, structured learning, and a clear path for advancement for individuals who demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Learning
- Assist in identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities within the steel fabrication and sheet metal industries.
- Help build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers, including manufacturers with ongoing fabrication needs.
- Conduct market and industry research to better understand customer needs and market trends.
Sales & Customer Support
- Support experienced sales team members in developing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Assist with presenting company capabilities and services to prospective clients.
- Help prepare sales proposals, presentations, and follow-up materials.
Client Needs & Collaboration
- Engage with potential customers to understand project requirements and fabrication needs.
- Work closely with engineering, estimating, and production teams to help develop practical, customer-focused solutions.
Sales Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer communications, and opportunities using CRM tools.
- Assist with basic sales reporting and tracking of market opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in sales, business development, and learning about manufacturing or fabrication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.
- Prior sales or internship experience is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with CRM tools is helpful but not required—training will be provided.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
